GJS Change Management asked Atom to provide them with a new brand and logo, having never formed any kind of solid visual identity in the time that they have been operating.
We decided to use a butterfly to promote the idea of change, transition and growth – taking care to ensure that the final design was unique, standing out in an industry where this shape could be considered quite common.
Figuring the company name into the butterfly shape was a design choice that really paid off. The use of block colours and solid fills was also avoided, and the gradients and colour changes are a further nod towards the notion of transition and change.
